my status: side a and side b for the upright are finished- maybe have issue with the seam of the two sides because didn't totally do Vaseline properly (GRRR) but lets hope. I am behind on my box mold- still need to add keys and then do the mother (gonna do that tonight) and was hesitant to do it before class because unsure if the process of the shims and foam keys is the same as it is for the upright (need to check with bonnie)

as far as project ideas I am interested in casting in a material that kind of has a commercial vibe like someone could have bought these- it is also important that I have good control of the colors I cast in- I want to cast in some bright artificial saturated colors (so maybe I should cast in rubber or plastic) I am thinking of my casts as acting as parts for a 3d painting- I am also thinking about things I could build to hold my parts or guide my casts in space to construct my paintings. maybe its shelves (or structures on wheels that are kind of like bookcases for these casts and the organization of the casts is the painting?) I also need to think about whether I am interested in people re arranging them (casts in whatever I '"store" them in) to make a new painting...these are the things I am thinking about right now for this project
